Lady Bishop Maureen Ambani is a faith leader, entrepreneur, community leader and advocate whose leadership spans ministry, business, healthcare and community service.

She is the Owner of Shalom Care LLC, which operates adult family homes, where she provides leadership centered on compassionate care, responsible stewardship and service to individuals and families. As an entrepreneur and business owner, she understands the realities of building organizations, leading people, making consequential decisions and carrying responsibility for the well-being of others.

Maureen also serves as Interim Chairperson of the Luhyas in Spokane Group, contributing to community leadership, connection and collective responsibility. She is a bonafide member of the Panhandle Northwest Pastors and Ministers Fellowship, extending her leadership into ministry and faith-based community engagement.

Her commitment to service further includes her role as Kara International Panhandle Northwest Ambassador, supporting the organization’s work in child protection, advocacy and the restoration of children who have experienced sexual abuse.
